Although this type of hotel is more prominently available in Japan, there are now other parts of the globe that house capsule hotels. For those who have not yet heard of capsule hotels, it is simply an accommodation that is composed of a simple bed with most rooms having no key. They are generally situated parallel to each other, giving the feeling of being placed in a coffin. Even though there are some individuals who regard them as “coffin hotels,” this description is not really true because a shared bath and rest room are also available for the guest. There are now even newer feature that provide sauna services to make the guest’s stay in a capsule hotel more relaxing.
